My son is so sad about losing his Basset Hound, Rudy. Here are some pictures and a link to his memorial.
Watch the movie at the bottom of his memorial page, it's pretty funny.

Sandra - Losing a pet is like losing a family member. We lost our first boxer over a two years ago, and it took us a year to get a new dog. It takes time to heal, but things will get better.
Sandra,
Rudy seems to be well Loved. Seems like a very close member of the family!! I am so sorry for your loss!!
sorry about the loss of your doggy. my son has started to show interest in having a dog of his own... i haven't caught up with the idea yet. :-)
Sandra
We lost one of our favorites "General Patton " a 13 year old Corgi a couple of years ago. It was tough so I can sympathize with your son Losing his dog.
Sandra - my thoughts are with your son, it is so hard to lose a pet, thanks for the terrific pictures and movie. I lived in Issaquah and Redmond for a long time, but never knew Woodinville had a Basset Day Parade.
rudy seemed like he was a very close member of the family. I hope you just keep with you all the joy he brang to your life. Have a great day.
Thank you all for your nice thoughts. Sheldon is now using Rudy's time to walk dogs at the animal shelter here in Port Townsend. Will let you know how that is going very soon.
