Just a short post to show you our joy last night. Celebrations were held all day, but I was working! I did make it downtown at 6 pm and took in a bit of the Gallery Walk and enjoyed champagne and fabulous chocolate at William's Gallery. William was Bill Metzler back at Windermere RE and I knew him when. Now he and his Jewelry creating wife Wendy have a wonderful gallery packed with treasures from around the world, showcasing her art.
Chamber Music at Artisans on Taylor.
The main attraction was taking place at Union Wharf and you could not miss it because you could hear the music of The Freddy Pink band where ever you went.
They really rock and have a great repetois with oldies, but goodies. There was dancing in the street.
One of our more colorful citizens (I think she is wearing her Kintectic Sculputure Race outfit) and her wheels.
We are all waiting in line for the great pizza at Waterfront Pizza...was worth the wait.

Thanks for the pics! We were visiting Port Townsend a few weeks ago and really enjoyed the town.
So glad you made the trip here and enjoyed it. Thanks for coming and reading my post.
Looks like great fun, Sandra! Does your more colorful citizen compete in the DaVinci races in Corvallis?
I do not know her personally, but I do see her at the Kinetic Race so I am just guessing. There are a few people here in town that do them both so could be. I moved here 10 years ago, just fresh out of a 3 piece suit and a Mercedes 500SL, and the Kinetic Race was one of the first things I went to here in town. Blew me away. Every year I say I am going to get more in the spirit with the costume thing, but am still the same conservative up-tight at heart that left So. Cal. way back then. This is really an amazing and refreshing place. I am just an observer.
Sandra, Looks like you had a great time. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Sandra, it looks like a fun event. I had to look up Port Townsend to find that it is in WA state.
Sorry, guess I should have been more specific. Thanks for reading my post. How is RE in Hawaii doing?
Sandra, thanks for sharing, looks like a great place! Reminds me of our concerts in the village on weekends!
Holly, Arrowhead is one of my very favorite places...I started going there with my mom a long time ago. Wish she had bought a cabin back then. Port Townsend is like a combination of Arrowhead and Avalon. It is pretty amazing. Thanks for reading.
