The same article also reports the number of Realtors in Jefferson County was 171 and dropped to 115 by the end of December 2009.

John, I think you are right. We will be back to thinking of the home purchase as a place for your family to live in and enjoy. Perhaps from now on kids can share a room and bathroom again as I did growing up.

The low year for our market appeared to be in 2008. We've had 18 consecutive months of increasing sales and 11 consecutive months of increasing or stable prices.
