The Boeing Bluebills are hosting a seminar on Independent Living, in which they will discuss modifications which can be made to your home to prevent falls and accidents, and increase mobility. ( Things can be installed such as hand rails, grab bars and medical alert systems.
This seminar will be Thursday, April 21, at the Port Ludlow Bay Club from 11:00 to 3:00 A social hour and lunch are included.
The Bluebills are retired Boeing engineers who volunteer their time and work to help people in the community with home projects they could not do on their own.
Sandra--What a wonderful thing the Boeing Bluebills are doing! I would guess that making a few changes in a home can make a world of difference in what a person's life decisions will be. Great localism post!
